Dereke Evans is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed, an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. With 18 years and over 40,000 hours of hands-on experience, Dereke has worked with dogs of all ages, breeds, personalities, and behavior needs.

His approach is rooted in positive reinforcement, clear communication, and compassion for both dogs and the people who love them. Dereke believes that training is not about forcing a dog to “behave,” but about helping families understand what their dog is communicating, teaching dogs the skills they need to succeed, and creating a stronger relationship between the dog and the whole household.

From puppy foundations to advanced skills, behavior modification, anxiety support, aggression concerns, therapy dog preparation, and beyond, Dereke brings experience, patience, and practical guidance to every session.
